I find the concept of time, or lack of it fascinating.

What really lies behind the clock 

And the mechanics of our mind that make us believe it exists? 

Why are we bound to seasons 

To hours, to days. 

Why do we not just live in the moment. 

And of that moment, are we even here 

Or elsewhere watching ourselves, perhaps to learn 

To evolve our souls unto the next journey 

For death is not an end. 

Only the soul of yourself can decide. 

In this book you will find my ramblings

 I run a poetry prompt page on Twitter, I did a special prompt to raise awareness for Autism, and this is the result, so many wonderful poets from the twitter writing community came together to write their views , their feelings on how the see Autism, all the proceeds from this book are going to Autism Angels UK, a charity close to me, the book cover was designed by the beautiful Olivia, age 6 and autistic, she drew how she sees me, and it's beautiful, I feel autism is still so very much misunderstood, and so close to home for me for many reasons, some of the people in the book are autistic authors, myself included, some not, so it's a great mix to see the different views, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did putting it together, thank you all you wonderful twitter poets for making this possible. 

It’s the Scratching 

Of a whisper biting just below 

My skin 

Dusks intimate vibration 

Snapping 

Glass strings to begin 

Overcast 

Elastic clouds 

Firing raven clawed dark sin 

Eternal 

Midnight stirring 

That creates me from within..

Existence

Microscopic quiescence 

Slips around me.. 

Interlocking me in a state of un-dreaming 

Adjusting my mind 

With a riddle 

Of intimacy and remoteness.. 

Permitting 

The inner boundaries of my soul 

To taste The forbidden nectar.. 

Of my existence..

In the granular of noise 

I can fall a thousand dreams 

And still 

Unlit inside your hours 

I can 

Be missed 

I spin within my heartbeat 

Though 

Find a thrum & thread 

Vibrations 

To my wavelet mind, 

Far off in a dance 

But if sometime, 

You glance my way 

Catch me, I exist,

An excellent collection of poetry with something for everyone.

This collection of poetry from Dawn is a stunning example of what modern poetry is all about. It's contemporary but classical, dark but light, whimsical but realistic. She manages to balance the art of poetry with everyday observations, feelings and emotions. The result is a selection of verses that feel honest and relatable but also literally inventive. Highly recommended.

Another stunning collection

Having read Dawn's previous collection of poems "Of Stars and Bare Skin" I looked forward to reading her second volume. I have to say this is every bit as good. She's such a talented lady and I hope to read much more of her work in the future.

Deep meaningful and heartfelt. A must have.

This is the book I have bought from this very talented lady. It's raw it's deep it's heartfelt, some of the poem resonated so deeply with me they brought me to tears. If you enjoy poetry then this is an absolute gem and a must have.

Lovely poetry for a wonderful cause

There are some wonderful poems within this book. With some wide ranging views of people's experiences of autism. This book is a collection of heart warming and touching poetry. I highly recommend this book to anyone.
