Angel of the night

Hanging from the stars above

Just waiting to fall

No more we suffer

No more shall we live with fear

No more we exist

Not so far from here

Did a cherry tree once stand

Death now resides there

We headed down south

Away from the winter's night

And found a reason

Seldom do we shine

Yet so often we burn out

Let me join the stars

A fragment of hope

Recovered from the remnants

Of a shattered dream

Waves crash on the coast

Each melodic cleansing sigh

The heart beat of time

The call of the wolf

Echoing through the valley

Watch how the herd runs

Tomorrow is now

Yesterday will never be

Today is no more
