Autumn's Fall

The day shall weave

Crimson

Scattered to the breeze..

The fall of rust

And golden leaves

To adorn,

The dawn..

As a whisper of scarlet

Breaks the cloud,

To silver the sheen

Of a gossamer shroud

Indigo Tears

An untimely love,

Befell us

From a night

Of bonfire stars above,

To the gaze

Of carnival smiles between us..

But hearts stitched

In the silent skies

Will forever be stained

With indigo tears

And promises,

Broken,

Unchained

Wrap the stars

Tight to your shoulders

Sit silent by the fire

Watch the flames
